Debate as part of the Learning Development Programme,  8 March, Trinity College

As part of their project on the Create Learning Development Programme student artists Kamil Markiewicz, Hannah Oellinger and Thomas Hayes are hosting a debate courtesy of the Trinity College Historical Society (a.k.a. The Hist). They would like to invite you to participate in this debate, and to take a side in proposition or opposition of its motion:

THIS HOUSE FEELS THAT THE MOST VALUABLE ART IS SOCIALLY ENGAGED

This is a formal debate. As an invited expert speaker, you will be debating with and against  other invited experts and house members of The Hist.

This debate will be held on Thursday 8th March at 4 p. m. Venue: Graduates’ Memorial Building, Trinity College.

If you are interested in participating, we will forward you a synopsis of the house rules and etiquette for debating. Please note that if you are not interested in speaking, we would still encourage you to attend as an audience member.

The recording of the debate will form part of the work that Kamil, Hannah and Thomas create for From Context To Exhibition 2012,  the culmination of work  by NCAD and IADT fine art students on the Learning Development Programme.
