Information Session for Artists interested in
Brief on Flood Defence Public Art Commission

The Office of Public Works (OPW) under the Per Cent for Art Scheme has provided funding for Create, the national development agency for collaborative art, to undertake the management of Per Cent for Art commissions relating to the creation of flood defence systems on the River Tolka in catchment areas across Dublin City Council, Fingal County Council and Meath County Council. Create supports new and exciting opportunities for artists by commissioning dynamic collaborative arts projects in the public realm and has an established track record in the delivery of public art commissions. Create will manage an open call for proposals from artists, curators and creative producers for the commissions. The deadline for applications to the commission is 27 July.

Ahead of the deadline, there will be a chance for artists interested in applying to attend an informal information session.
