 Create are pleased to announce that two new staff members will be joining the team, following a competitive recruitment process.

 

Áine Crowley joins the organisation as Programme Manager, Arts and Engagement. Aine will advance Create’s work to support artists and communities of interest and/or place to realise high-quality collaborative arts practice, through ongoing professional development support, project opportunities and the development of cross-sectoral alliances and partnerships. This role is at the core of Create’s commitment to ensure the optimum development of the field of collaborative arts in line with the Create’s mission and values. Áine has a strong track record of supporting artists and communities, having worked with, among others, dlr County Council Arts Office, Voluntary Arts Ireland and Mayfield Arts. Áine has been facilitator and visual artist on a number of culturally diverse projects, including Mark Storor’s Hungry Tea, and holds a BA Fine Art Printmaking from Limerick School of Art and Design.

Keelin Murray has been appointed to the role of Communications and Publishing Manager. Keelin’s responsibilities include developing and overseeing Create’s communications strategy across digital and traditional media, as well as managing publishing activity within the organisation. Keelin will be a key member of the Create team and will work closely with other staff to ensure optimum visibility for the organisation, its programme of activities and projects delivered, reflecting the organisation’s strategy. Keelin has worked with a number of arts organisations including Childrens’ Books Ireland, Exit 15, and Illustrators Ireland, and is committed to supporting the arts through her communications and publishing work.  Keelin holds a BA in Music and Linguistics from UCD, an MSc and PhD in Linguistics from the University of Edinburgh.
