This session introduces the work of artists collaborating with marginalised communities, showcases their working methods and examines questions around ethics, identity, audience and responsibility in order to open up discussion and interrogate how best to represent the complex realities of today's world.

2. Watch Fearghus Ó Conchúir, Cure: Supper, 2 May as part of Dublin Dance Festival in partnership with Create

On the 2nd May just before the Dublin Dance Festival, dancer and choreographer Fearghus Ó Conchúir hosted a supper for twenty people as an occasion for conversation across disciplines and cultures in relation to the theme of ‘recovery’ – central to his new work Cure programmed as part of Dublin Dance Festival 2013 May 15-16). This collective enquiry gave the guests present a chance to explore their own understanding of recovery, to gain insight into the ideas and artistic processes of Cure’s creation and to inform Fearghus in the crucial final rehearsal period before the show’s premiere.
